Chaska History Center
The Chaska Historical Society was officially organized in 1980 by a group of people who recognized the need to record and preserve the history of Chaska.
The Chaska society, a chapter of the Carver County Historical Society, is located in the Chaska History Center at 112 West Fourth Street in a newly restored 1890 Livery Stable. The organization is led by a nine member elected Board of Directors which meets quarterly. The annual meeting of the membership is held each fall usually in November.

Current fund raising activities:
- Use the Good Search" search engine.
Add the Good Search Tool bar to your web browser. Yes it is that easy! Click here to be taken to the Good Search home page.
Then all you have to do is download the Good Search tool bar and install it on your computer. This will add Good Search as another search
engine (similar to Goggle). You will be asked to select your charity (Chaska Historical Society). Then every time you use Good Search as your
search engine we will receive $.01. Now that does not sound like much, but if we get a lot of people to use this search engine the amount will add up fast.
- Chaska Bricks are available at the History Center
- Chaska ornaments are available for an $8.00 donation. The 2013 ornament is now available. Previous years ornaments are available - some at bargain rates!
